NEEL TRIMARANS was granted, on Friday, December 5, the benefit of a judicial reorganization procedure by the La Rochelle Commercial Court.
This decision comes in a context marked by a slowdown in the leisure boating market, particularly in the United States, and the default of a major American client who failed to pay for several ordered units. This situation forced the company to self-finance the construction of these boats, generating cash flow tensions despite corrective measures that had been implemented.
The initiation of this procedure primarily aims to protect the men and women who bring Neel to life, to preserve jobs, to ensure the continuity of industrial activities, and to create the conditions for a strong and sustainable recovery for the benefit of both employees and the company.
NEEL TRIMARANS is also working, in parallel, to implement solutions with its technical and financial partners in order to secure its operations and restore a stable operational trajectory as quickly as possible.
The company wishes to acknowledge the commitment and expertise of its teams, thanks to whom 210 NEEL and LEEN trimarans are sailing today on seas across the globe.
